Pool individual

disk load

The following graph shows the disk IOPS for a single SAS drive in the storage pool

that stores the four Pool1_x data stores. Because the statistics from all the drives in

the pool were similar, a single drive is reported for the purpose of clarity and

readability of the graph.

During peak load, the disk serviced a maximum of 207 IOPS. FAST Cache helped to

reduce the disk load.

Pool LUN load

The following graph shows the LUN IOPS and response time from the Pool1_3 data

store. Because the statistics from all pools were similar, a single pool is reported for

the purpose of clarity and readability of the graph.

During peak load, the LUN response time did not exceed 4 ms and the data store

serviced over 2,500 IOPS.
