Use the default action Send a notiﬁcation email and type an email address in the Value column. (To change this

action, click it and select a dierent action from the drop-down box.)

NOTE: In order for SRM alarm actions to send an SNMP trap or to send an email, the vCenter server must be

conﬁgured correctly. To conﬁgure mail and SNMP settings in vCenter, appropriately conﬁgure mail servers and

trap destination in vCenter Server Settings on the Home/Administration screen in your vSphere Client.
