This concludes the installation and conﬁguration of vSphere Replication components. Replication and protection

is now conﬁgured as a property of the virtual machines themselves.

Step 8: Conﬁguring protection for a vSphere Replication–protected VM

Once the vSphere Replication framework has been deployed and conﬁgured, virtual machines can now be set

up for replication, and added to a protection group and recovery plan.

In order to conﬁgure protection for a VM using vSphere Replication, follow these steps:
