Disconnect the Host from the Virtual Disk
Toaccessthemappedvirtualdiskfromavirtualmachineagain,youmustdisconnect
it.Youcandisconnectthehostfromthevirtualdiskusingtwodifferentmethods.
To disconnect the host from the virtual disk
Dooneofthefollowing:
UsetheFilemenuinWorkstation:
a ChooseFile>MaporDisconnectVirtualDisksorMountorUnmount
VirtualDisks.
bInthedialogbox,selectavolumetodisconnectandclickDisconnector
Unmount.
cIfyoureceiveanerrormessageaskingwhethertoforciblydisconnect,click
Yes.
dClickOK.
UsetheVMmenuforaselectedvirtualmachine:
a ChooseVM>Settings>Hardware.
b SelecttheharddiskandclickUtilities>DisconnectorUnmount.
