Host System Requirements
Likephysicalcomputers,thevirtualmachinesrunningunderWorkstationperform
betteriftheyhavefasterprocessorsandmorememory.
Thetermshostandguestdescribephysicalandvirtualmachines:
Host—ThephysicalcomputeronwhichyouinstalltheWorkstationsoftwareis
calledthehostcomputer,andits operatingsystemisthehostoperatingsystem.
Guest—Theoperatingsystemrunninginsideavirtualmachineiscalledaguest
operatingsystem.
